Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons (CPS-ECP) is a nationwide organization of recreational boating enthusiasts. CPS-EPS is a charitable organization with many active members. Our programs help recreational boaters improve their boating safety knowledge as well as their vessel handling and navigational skills.

The Guelph Power and Sail Squadron is a committed community of experienced boaters inspiring others to adopt a safe boating attitude through education and training.

The Guelph Squadron has been connecting boaters since 1962 and continues to offer courses in safe boating.

Certificate courses like Boating 1 and Maritime Radio are offered annually.

Introductory courses like Boating 2 and Boating 3 are offered most years.

Advanced and Special Interest courses are offered based on the demand for these courses as well as the availability of resources, i. e. volunteers and instructors.

Traditionally, our courses have been offered in a classroom setting. Due to COVID 19, we will be offering our courses in a virtual classroom for the first time.
